ABB Basic PROFIBUS DTM / PROFIBUS DTM Builder is an FDT/DTM-based toolkit for configuring, parameterizing, and diagnosing PROFIBUS DP/PA devices. The Basic PROFIBUS DTM provides a generic master interface that lets engineers commission networks, browse device inventories via GSD files, perform online/offline parameter handling, and access device diagnostics within any FDT-compliant frame application. The DTM Builder complements this by enabling device vendors and integrators to create, customize, and maintain DTMs for their PROFIBUS devices, using templates and import of existing device descriptions to streamline delivery of a consistent user interface and feature set.
